Delia Coonan is an independent legal skills training specialist. She has over twenty years experience in the teaching of

• specialist academic subjects (carriage of goods, sales and international sales, consumer credit, marine insurance, jurisdiction and arbitration);
  
  
• the practice of the skills of the professional litigator;
  

in the context of both these specialist areas and the more general areas of contract and tort and professional negligence.

She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the author of works on the sale of goods and consumer credit; international trade; jurisdiction and arbitration, all written with the concerns of the young professional in mind.

She designs and delivers courses in the drafting of statements of case at all levels to a large number of well-known firms, both in London and in Hong Kong.

She is a former principal lecturer at the Inns of Court School of Law and consultant at Nottingham Law School.
